IMAX was a heart thumping experience. A great option to have that ultimate immersion of movie going. Imax theater does not have reclining seats. Really enjoyed the limited showing of Tenet. I love when the theaters have these exclusive movies for a limited viewing. Service was helpful. Self serve Kiosks are located in the front foyer to purchase tickets with card. Easy to navigate through. Escalator and elevators available. Regal rewards also available for the frequent movie goer.

Post covid and I still haven't been wanting to go to the movies but it was niece that pushed me to go back. We spend a day together once a month and summers in the valley suck and since they offer great matinee deals you know I had to give them a try. This was my first time at this particular Regal location but its huge! The customer service was good at the door and concession stand, not sure if the cleaning crew is doing the best job there was butter all over the floor at our seats, I told the young lady at the front and she showed me where people we seated so we just moved. Looking forward to coming back and watching more movies here!

My review is mainly for the IMAX room, and screening of Oppenheimer in IMAX 70mm (aka 15/70)...it's astonishing to me how people in California and especially LA act like bunch of spoiled brats! Giving a theater 2/5 because you had to take extra steps to get to the top 4 rows of this massive IMAX room! I used to live in midwest, and there were so many IMAX 15/70 there, but now they're down to a few handful, and people are literally driving 100s of miles to see Oppenheimer in 15/70format, and people here are whining for childish stuff! I believe there are 22theaters in North America that show Oppenheimer in 15/70 format and four of them were in Los Angeles area, including this theater. And as a cinephile and a film lover, I managed to go to all four theaters. So I drove about 160miles (round trip) for my viewing at Ontario, and it was the best experience for me out of all four theaters. I was sitting at Row I, and it perfectly aligned with center of the image. Also plenty of legroom, which is not what you get at CityWalk at all! The seats seemed to be similar to seats at Regal Irvine Spectrum, but these felt more comfy or leaning. The image quality was astonishing to me. My jaw would drop every time the aspect ratio would change for 15/70 shots and filling the whole screen. Again I think the new generation is clueless or some have forgotten how a film projection is...every film reel (want it or not) catches a small hair or dirt for a few frames. It's not like the whole damn 70ft tall screen would be filled with dirt or debris. The projectionist seriously needs a massive praise and a well deserved raise. The sound quality is also spot on, some theaters like TCL Chinese, have a massive IMAX room, but the sound system is not well setup which causes the dialogue unclear or sound like coming out of a pit! But this was perfectly done, which would make the soundtrack giving you goosebumps for certain scenes. They also serve cocktails, but not hot coffee. I really wanted to have a cup of coffee as I had a long drive back late at night, but then I saw they have a energy drink which was equivalent to two cups of coffee, which did job for me...for snacks, I sometimes like to have curly fries, but they don't have that either, which is not a big deal to me. The men's room is also European style...meaning I didn't see dividers for standing stalls. In all honesty, most theaters don't have the best restrooms. IMO if you're a film geek like me, I believe you would be satisfied with the 70mm projection here. I personally hope with every ounce of my soul, that they keep this place and keep their 70mm projector forever...I wish film directors like Martin Scorsese, Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson who care about film projection, they would keep this place in mind too.
